THEY CALL IT JUSTICE

Because of overcrowding in Britain's prisons the government has now brought out a new guideline for prisoners doing a parole sentence between four and ten years, which is called the 'old rule'. Sentences under ten years are called 'new rule' and mean that prisoners only serve half their sentence. Such 'new rule' is for prisoners who were arrested after April 2005.

Our RVF prisoner Mark Atkinson (Atki) has been told that he is not to be considered for early release as he has 'gone over his parole date!' Therefore Atki will have to finish two thirds of his sentence behind bars. Added to his time spent in the Spanish prison system will total Atki's imprisonment to over SEVEN YEARS - The maximum sentence for 'inciting racial hatred'.

Atki is also under another new guideline know as 'domestic extremism'. This means that the system has put his risk factor up to 'very high risk to the public' when he [finally] gets released. In addition to this he will also be placed under the 'Police Public Protection Unit'. He sure expects some fun and games at the hands of zog, but he isn't worried; he knows that zog's plans backfired and it is now THEY who are the worried ones!

When they incarcerated Atki and the other volunteers zog expected the RVF to crumble; but, as we are all aware, there are ample other volunteers to carry on the fine work!

Whilst Atki has been away many friendships have been made across Europe and the USA under the slogan "Together We Are Strong". At the same time others have crumbled. You only survive under good leadership - as we all know!!!
