Interview with POW Mark “Atki” Atkinson

Interview conducted 20th July 2006

Heil, comrade Atki! Please introduce yourself to our readers. Probably some are familiar with your case, but nevertheless explain to us the reasons for your detention.

-Hail to all comrades, who will read my interview with interest. I have been in prison since April 23^rd 2005 on charges of conspiracy to incite racial hatred. I’m involved with a NS group called “Racial Volunteer Force (RVF)”, which was formed in 2001 at a meeting held in Europe.

The RVF is organized by comrades from different countries under a European Council. Everyone agreed that we needed a unity bond among comrades. And the best way to do this was to form a European Council. Not everyone is involved in this set-up, as we make our security is 100%. We knew by having an organization like the RVF some would end up in jail at some point but that risk you take. You know that the state will hit you with big sentences to scare others. ZOG thought by taking comrades of the streets for a while would finish the RVF, but it is as strong as ever and growing day by day. The RVF supports the 14 Words 100% and for this I got 5 years for merely expressing my opinions through the RVF zine “Stormer” and I got 1 year for the RVF website that the judge put concurrent, cause he could only give me a total of 5 years on a guilty plea. ZOG used my girlfriend Liz to make me plead guilty, as she was charged with conspiracy also even my lawyer said it was a catch 22 for me even through all the evidence was alleged on me by the state. The conspiracy charged has changed in the UK laws, cause now you have to prove otherwise.

How is life in your jail? As I know you had been moved quiet a lot I think? Are you able of doing sports, reading or working? Are there other P.O.W.-comrades in your jail? Are there any oppressions, repressions,… in the jail?

-My life in jail isn’t too bad, as I am in the North of England. But my family is in the South of England – London. I don’t see my 3 children much, but I speak to my family by phone each week. I do get a lot of visits and a lot of letters from comrades in Europe and the USA and local of course.

I’ve been in this jail since 14^th Dec. 2005. Before this I spent 6 months in Belmarsh from May 20^th 2005 on remand. This jail is 90% blacks, Muslims. Then we all were put in solitary confinement from 5^th Nov. 2005 for 3 weeks, then me and a co-defendant was moved to other jails spending 6 weeks in segregated unit, because prison governor didn’t want us on wings, as they said we are racists.

In this jail I cannot do sports in gym, cause of my white supremacist tattoos. Reading and working isn’t a problem for me. One of my c-defendant has had problems with work and other things in his jail, because the governor of the prison is a red one, but his lawyer is sorting out for him.

To be honest, if you are a white supremacist in British jails you will always have problems, it’s best to keep your head down.

Since we are in Germany we aren’t familiar to the laws and the circumstances in England. Does England have so-called “hate-crimes” and/or “democratic” laws restricting freedom of speech, too?

-Yes, we do have “Hate Laws” in Britain even more so, cause of the Muslim extremists. We do have “freedom of speech”, but it doesn’t apply to us.

It made the 5 of us laugh at our trial, when the state judge said many times that we were not on trial for our views, but our actions, as he said. We had tried to incite a “racial holy war”, cause in Britain we’ve the right to have our views under the freedom of speech.

Can you say anything concerning the present discussions on an upcoming “European Arrest Warrant”? Do such discussions take place in England, too? The “EAW” is to be an European law, that regulates the extradition of Europeans to other European nations, i.e. a Norwegian could be extradited to Germany for denying the Holocaust and / or praising the NS in any way.

-I was brought back to England from Spain on a European arrest warrant. I was arrested in a big operation by Interpol and secret police. Then taken to Madrid court and held there in prison until Scotland Yard brought me back to England. I was held in Spain for just over a month.

The United Kingdom has been involved in this European arrest warrant, since the middle of 2004 and it’s a big tool for ZOG in many ways.

When you are held on this charge you are given 3 chances to surrender and on the 3^rd time they will send you back anyway. You cannot fight it. But the Spanish judge said I can return to Spain, because I never committed a crime in their country.

How important do you think is a common European bond between white Europeans? Do you see any possible to realize it?

-I don’t agree with the EU, because now we are getting more vermin into our countries. But I agree that all white Europeans must stand together after we have got rid of all the race-traitors in our countries and the traitors in government. That’s the future! And it will take some hard work and a lot of jail sentences, but that is the risk.

“Your” government is very hypocritical and moreover very submissive to the USA. Would you see such an anti-Americanism (or anti-capitalism) as a possibility to interest more people for our cause? Are there perhaps any anti-capitalistic movements in England (I do not think of such left-wing gays like “attac” or something like that)?

-Yes, our government is very hypocritical and very submissive to the USA. There are a lot of people that don’t agree with the war, but each government will stand by each other. I am not too sure, if there are any anti-capitalism movements in England. You don’t see any marches of this sort. No doubt, there is it somewhere…

As our readers may know you are on the list of the German “HNG”. Does England have an organization being comparable to the “HNG”? What do you think of the “HNG”-work? Is there support from Germany?

-Britain doesn’t have an organization being comparable to the HNG. Since the RVF website was taken off by ZOG, as I was involved in the POW side of things. But we heard something has been set up but we not heard too much about it. There is a list that the RVF have, but these have been passed on to the HNG, but it needs up dating as comrades get out and come in.

I salute everyone at HNG for the work they have done for prisoners all around Europe and USA. It’s good for a prisoner to get a letter under his cell-door, cause everyone has bad and good days. So it helps keep their spirits up. In Britain all the NS prisoners keep in touch, this is something they cannot stop, but I heard in the USA that prisoners cannot write to other prisoners.

Have you ever been in Germany? What comes to your mind, when thinking of this nation?

-Yes, I’ve been to Germany many times for gigs and to watch football, but the worst place I’ve been was “Berlin Zoo” (I think it is called). A lot of vermin everywhere, but some parts are okay.

When I think of Germany I think about all the good times at gigs and I think about all the good comrades I’ve met, and I hope I will visit again in the future.

I read in some articles from the internet that the RVF had been destroyed, when you and your comrades had been imprisoned. Is the RVF able of keeping on working for our case, whilst you and your comrades are in jail?

-Yes I had a Searchlight article sent to me saying that ZOG destroyed the RVF when they put me and my team in jail.

The funny thing is I couldn’t stop laughing at this report. To be honest it was a joke and at the end of the report they said they were going to bring out the 2^nd issue of “White Riot” called “The Story of the RVF”. They said it would be published Feb.06, but it looks like they are waiting for the trial in Oct.06 concerning RVF merchandise. So it looks like they haven’t got enough information to finish the book, but I’m not worried, because if Wells is involved he wasn’t involved when RVF was formed only leading up to it, because they know nothing about RVF. The volunteers knew it was a matter of time that ZOG would be knocking on doors and before the UK was hit they hit Europe looking for links and intelligence of the RVF. By the time ZOG hit the UK volunteers it was too late – the seeds had been sewn and the roots was taking shape across Europe.

The RVF trial showed that SB “Special Branch” couldn’t find any hard evidence only alleged, they even raided in Poland and found nothing. So they weren’t sure it was printed in Poland, their only evidence they had was a box of 30 zines coming from Poland. This case took four years or around and cost the state three million for only 30 odd zines and a bit merchandise. ZOG wasn’t happy, because they couldn’t get inside the organization in their biggest attack on the UK movement. So this showed how good the RVF security was and the comrades behind it are 100%.

Our split from “C” caused panic in ZOG, because they lost control of certain comrades and even more. So when they heard a new group had been formed and certain comrades were making trips to Europe making links.

Can you tell us a bit about the activities of the RVF? Had there been any focal points in your activities? For example, do you prefer spreading flyers, organizing concerts, training yourselves or going to marches, and so on?

-When the team and I were jailed none of us were worried about the organization as it was left in good hands. Those in control are trusted to carry it out. ZOG has to remember if you send five to jail there are five to take their place. You will never stop the RVF. What makes me sick is when the shit hits the fan certain people can not wait to blame others, but when it’s going well it’s a different story. You have to remember this isn’t a game. You know what you are getting yourself involved in, so you cannot blame others for your own mistakes. So you have no rights to moan you are at war and there is always a risk that you could end up as a POW. It’s part of the battle with the enemy.

Yes, the RVF must be doing something right, otherwise ZOG wouldn’t be so worried. While others are falling apart, the RVF is growing stronger day by day.

Can you tell us something about any planned or upcoming activities from the RVF?

-Activities have made an impact with the media (Antifa, Searchlight) it seems the Searchlies crew got it all wrong. So did those at So 13 ha-ha…

Yes, training our new volunteers has to be done for all sorts of reasons. It’s not all about going to a concert and getting pissed. Yes, publicity is always good and we had a lot during our trial and afterwards. I thank the media for their great reporting. It puts our message across in a big way.

I presume that the system is really crazy on the RVF. It is quiet probable that the system is keen on knowing your plans and tries to supervise the comrades. So, what do you prefer: Acting secretly with only a small group and preparing for greater actions? Or acting in public trying to enlighten the people? Please tell us the reasons for your decision.

-Since June 2006 ZOG has been active in Europe trying to find information on certain comrades and the RVF, playing their silly games, trying to scare those they think they are linked to the RVF and keeping people in jail on jumped up charges to try and sabotage the activities. This only shows how worried they are. Doesn’t it and this trial at Leeds, which is coming up in October, concerning RVF merchandise, just shows that they are trying to stop us raising funds?! I wish him all the best for his trial.

Yeah, acting secretly is better for the organization as ZOG fears the unknown with cells of no more than four comrades per cell.
